Oscar Tshiebwe‘s NBA home is not far from his old Kentucky home. Shams Charania reports that Oscar agreed to a two-way deal with the Indiana Pacers. The former Kentucky center worked out for the club in Indianapolis just ten days ago. In Indy, he will reunite with fellow former Wildcat Isaiah Jackson, who was on the team when Oscar transferred in from West Virginia during the 2020-21 season.
Oscar was not selected in last night’s NBA Draft, becoming the first Naismith Award winner in history to not be drafted. It was a tough night for traditional big men in general, with Oscar, Gonzaga center Drew Timme, and UConn’s Adama Sanogo all going undrafted.
