The Orlando Antigua era at South Florida is over.
On Tuesday, the school announced that Antigua had been relieved of his duties as head coach of the the Bulls. The school also says that assistant coach Murry Bartow will serve as interim head coach for the rest of the season.
It’s been a sad fall for Antigua since his days at Kentucky. The former Wildcats assistant coach left to become the head man at USA after spending the previous six seasons under John Calipari, one of which being with the Memphis Tigers before a five-year run at UK that included a national title and three Final Fours.
