Kentucky needed Lynn Bowden to step up and he delivered at quarterback against Arkansas. Dominique Yates, Louisville Courier Journal
LEXINGTON - Playing a wide receiver at quarterback against any Southeastern Conference opponent might appear daunting.
But when Kentucky wide receiver Lynn Bowden was informed he would fill that roll against Arkansas, he was not concerned about being overmatched by the situation.
“What I was really worried about was the secret getting out,” Bowden said with a smile after leading Kentucky to a 24-20 victory.
