A second-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft after spending four year at Kentucky, Darius Miller has had a pretty successful NBA career. Sadly, or one could think thankfully, he’s being released by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Miller had signed a multi-year contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, but this past offseason, he was traded to the Thunder.
After 18 games this season with a relatively young Thunder team (OKC has the second-fewest average seasons played in the NBA), Miller has been released, according to Shams Charania.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are waiving swingman Darius Miller, creating roster space to sign Euroleague forward Gabriel Deck of Real Madrid to a contract, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.
