Offensive outburst against Louisville offers Kentucky football hope

Louisville’s defense is not good.

But for an offense as anemic as Kentucky’s was for most of the second half of the regular season, there were predictably no apologies for beating up on a struggling rival.

Instead, there was optimism that the offensive outburst might be a sign of things to come.

“It was huge for us,” quarterback Terry Wilson said. “It was a mindset for us that we needed to go out there and show everybody how explosive we are as an offense. We just came out humming and ready to go, ready to make plays, and I feel like it was contagious.
