Kentucky’s 2022-23 non-conference schedule is a work in progress. Jon Rothstein reports that the Cats will NOT play Notre Dame as previously scheduled this season. Instead, the final game of the multi-year series will move to the 2023-24 season and be played at a neutral site. Kentucky hosted Notre Dame on Dec. 12, 2020, and the Cats played in South Bend on Dec. 11 last year. The Fighting Irish won both contests.
Additionally, a source tells Rothstein that Kentucky will host Duquesne at Rupp Arena this season. The Cats have played the Dukes twice, beating them 93-59 in 2016 as part of the Bluegrass Showcase and 55-42 in the 1982 UKIT.
