Last night’s win at Vanderbilt was historic for Kentucky in Southeastern Conference play.
The Wildcats’ 5-3 record locked up sole possession of second place in the SEC East for the first time since the conference introduced the new format in 1992.
Additionally, this is only the second time since 1977 that Kentucky has a winning record in SEC play.
