It was a big week for Jordan Lovett and not just because North Hardin plays rival Central Hardin Friday night in the second round of the KHSAA football playoffs.
The 6-2 junior safety from Radcliff, Ky. has been a hot commodity on the recruiting trail. Before this week, Cincinnati was the highest-profile scholarship offer he could claim. Tennessee extended a scholarship offer on Monday. Three days later, Louisville did the same, followed a few hours later by the University of Kentucky. Just like that, Lovett has three power five offers.
The exceptional athlete has risen through the ranks by his play on the field, not by impressing recruiting analysts at camps.
