LEXINGTON — Kentucky football's in-state recruiting momentum is carrying over into the 2021 class.
Three-star North Hardin running back La'Vell Wright committed to Kentucky Wednesday morning. Wright is the fifth-best prospect in the state's 2021 class, according to Rivals.com.
He is the second Kentucky high school star to commit to UK's 2021 class, joining three-star Somerest quarterback Kaiya Sheron.
As a junior, Wright totaled 1,819 rushing yards with 25 touchdowns and caught 34 passes for 553 yards and three touchdowns.
