LEXINGTON — Another week, another in-state commitment for the Kentucky football 2021 recruiting class.
Three-star North Hardin defensive back Jordan Lovett committed to Kentucky Wednesday over Louisville, Missouri, Cincinnati, Boston College, West Virginia and Georgia Tech. He is Kentucky's third in-state commitment this month, following his North Hardin teammate LaVell Wright and four-star Frederick Douglass wide receiver Dekel Crowdus.
A first-team All-State selection by The Courier Journal last season, Lovett totaled 15 interceptions, 40 tackles and one fumble recovery as a junior, helping North Hardin to an undefeated regular season before losing to Trinity in the 6A semifinals.
