John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats’ first 2021 commit continues to draw high praise from those who know him best.
Four-star point guard Nolan Hickman, who committed to UK Saturday, landed major comparisons from his high school coach, Paul Peterson.
In an interview with Kentucky Sports Radio, Peterson compared Hickman to two of the top point guards in recent UK history in Tyler Ulis and Rajon Rondo.
“He’s like a mixture of a bunch of different guys, he’s not just one guy,” Peterson told KSR’s, Jack Pilgrim. “He’s smooth like [Tyler] Ulis, ball screens like Ulis, but I think he’s a better shooter than Ulis.
