The No. 8 Kentucky softball team came up short in the first game of this weekend’s series at No. 6 Arkansas.
The Wildcats were unable to produce hits with runners on base in the 2-1 loss.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 8 Kentucky Softball team went 2-for-16 with runners on base Friday and were unable to capitalize in the seventh as the bats went quiet in a 2-1 loss at No. 6 Arkansas.
With the loss, Kentucky falls to 28-10 and the Wildcats are 8-5 in the Southeastern Conference.
