No. 24 UK basketball folds down the stretch in loss to No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The No. 24 Kentucky basketball team fell to No. 14 Tennessee 61-59 Tuesday in Rupp Arena.

The Volunteers used a 3-pointer and a breakaway bucket to secure the victory after trailing by two points with just 30 seconds remaining.

Lamonte Turner scored 16 points and Jordan Bowden added 13 to lead the Volunteers (18-5, 8-3 Southeastern Conference) past the Wildcats (17-7, 6-5) for the second time this season.
