Kentucky men’s soccer continues to uphold its #2 national ranking even though they have been unable to come up with a win over its last three games. On Wednesday, Kentucky faced fellow Sun Belt Conference opponent, Coastal Carolina, at The Bell Soccer Complex at the University of Kentucky on a cold, windy night.
The Wildcat was ready for the match up and so was a packed crowd. Coming into the match, Kentucky remained undefeated (8-0-4) while Coastal (3-3-5) sat at .500 on the season. Most people expected this to be an easier game for the ‘Cats, but from the start, they were never able to find the spark that they needed to get the win
Although Kentucky had many more corner attempts compared to Coastal in the first half, the ‘Cats could not find the back of the net.
