The craziest week in college basketball thus far has come to an end with many of the nation’s top teams taking losses.
Each loss has caused a great deal of movement within the week five AP Poll with four teams dropping seven or more spots.
Following Saturday’s loss to UNC Wilmington, Kentucky fell four spots to No. 16 in the AP Poll, the spot where the Wildcats were ranked to begin the preseason.
The Wildcats sit one spot behind the Miami Hurricanes, who they beat during the ACC/SEC Challenge just a week ago.
Kentucky is the highest ranked SEC team in the week five poll with two other teams joining it.
