No. 14 Kentucky volleyball (14-7, 8-2 SEC) defeated Georgia (9-11, 3-7 SEC) in a 3-0 sweep to finish its road trip a perfect 5-0.
The Bulldogs got off to a hot start leading 6-0 in the first set before Kentucky quickly closed the gap by going on a 5-0 run to slim the deficit. Both teams tied 9-9 before Georgia pushed through to gain a 15-11 lead.
The Cats tied it up again, but called a time after falling behind 23-22. After the time out, Kentucky regained the lead and took the first set 26-24.
In the second set, Kentucky changed the narrative, leading 4-0, which forced Georgia into its first timeout.
