The Kentucky men's basketball team dropped a tough season opener against No. 9 Duke on Tuesday, but the Wildcats are back in action Friday night with a home contest against Robert Morris.
If No. 10 Kentucky (0-1) wants to nationally contend this season, its freshmen will have to step up, beat writer Jon Hale said. Kentucky freshmen TyTy Washington and Daimion Collins are two key players who must get into a groove on the collegiate level.
Against Duke, Washington hit just 3 of 14 shots. Collins played only two minutes.
