The state of Kentucky had three volleyball teams competing in the NCAA Tournament's Round of 32 on Saturday, and No. 1 Louisville swept its second-straight NCAA match to advance to the Sweet 16.
However, Kentucky, the defending national champions, were upset by Illinois, and Western Kentucky fell at Georgia Tech.

Louisville improves to 30-0 with third-straight Sweet 16 appearance
The No. 1-overall-seed Louisville Cardinals (30-0) continued their unbeaten season with a second-round NCAA win over Ball State 29-27, 25-11, 25-19. It’s the first time the Cardinals have won 30 games in a season since 2012 and marks the program’s third-straight Sweet 16 appearance.
