provided his second practice report of the season over at CoachCal.com today; here are some of the highlights:
- Alex Poythress is back and he’s starting to look like his old self. AP went through full practices this weekend and made several impressive plays – including a lob in transition and a tip-in off of a missed three-pointer. If Poythress can play at even 90% of his pre-injury capacity, this team’s gonna be scary.
- Tyler Ulis is establishing himself as a coach on the court. Calipari often singled him out to explain where players should be on the floor – showing a clear trust in his sophomore PG.
