Dontaie Allen is set to become the first Kentucky native to sign with the Wildcats since Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis back in the Class of 2013.
It wasn’t easy, however, for Allen to get that coveted offer. After all, there have been plenty of good players to come out of Kentucky since then, but none of them were able to earn a scholarship offer from John Calipari, who always wants the best of the best in Lexington.
Good thing Allen left little doubt he was a special player worthy of that UK offer with his dominant summer on the AAU circuit, some of which Courtside Films and TheDZone Video are giving us a look back at:
