New Coordinator, New Scheme, New Starting Quarterback

Fresh starts for all is the overriding theme for the Kentucky passing game. The Wildcats’ aerial attack has been inconsistent and inefficient over the past three seasons. It averaged 131.2 yards to go along with a 58.3% completion percentage per season during that time frame. Those numbers ranked the Cats last in the SEC for three consecutive years. It must be noted that 2019 could be considered as a mulligan due to receiver Lynn Bowden taking over at quarterback following Terry Wilson’s injury. The Cats led the SEC in rushing in that season after posting a 278 yards per game average.
