Country roads are taking Neal Brown closer to home.
The Danville native has spent the last four years leading the Troy football program to a 35-16 record, three bowl victories and a Sun Belt Championship. Pete Thamel reports Brown is expected to leave Troy to replace Dana Holgorsen as West Virginia’s next head coach. The two parties are currently in the process of finalizing a deal.
Before he was a head coach, Brown was on Kentucky’s sidelines. The Air Raid discipline called UK’s offense during Mark Stoops’ first two years in Lexington.
