West Virginia University and head football coach Neal Brown have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension.
Brown, a Boyle County native and former Kentucky player, will now be under contract at West Virginia for the next four years.
Last season, the Mountaineers won nine games, including a Duke’s Mayo Bowl victory over North Carolina.
Brown was Kentucky’s offensive coordinator from 2013-2014. He was head coach at Troy prior to taking the West Virginia job.
