According to Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports, Appalachian State has had “multiple discussions” with Neal Brown about becoming the school’s new head football coach.
Brown was recently fired by West Virginia after a 6-6 season. He was 37-35 in 6 seasons with the Mountaineers.
Prior to West Virginia, Brown was the offensive coordinator at Kentucky and head coach at Troy.
