Over the course of the past year, there has been a ton of talk about the NCAA changing its rules on two different topics. The first is the name, image, and likeness rights and the other is the one-time transfer rule.
Both rules have each had their runs of gaining momentum to being passed, but each time they are set on the backburner.
Now according to Bryan Fischer of Athlon Sports, the NCAA will move forward with the transfer rule which will allow student-athletes one penalty-free transfer in their college career. The rule change is expected to be voted on at the NCAA Division I Council’s meeting after the Final Four.
