NCAA has reportedly ordered a stop to all recruiting

Crootin’ season is over.

According to Jon Rothstein, Nicole Auerbach and a host of other reporters, the NCAA has suspended recruiting for all sports, both on and off campus, until at least April 15.

Typically this time of the year is used to build momentum on the trail. Now basketball coaches will be unable to evaluate prospects on recruiting circuits and football coaches will not get to watch high schoolers participate in spring practice or host recruits while the Cats compete in spring ball. Just yesterday there were prospective recruits on Kentucky’s campus to watch spring practice.
