We won’t be hearing the words “YAHTZEE” for a while, that’s for sure. The NCAA has just pushed back the end of its recruiting dead period by several weeks – now, there will be no recruiting nationwide for Division I and Division II athletics through May 31.
Previously, the NCAA had suspended all in-person recruiting through April 15. However, new developments in the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak have caused the organization to push back that timeline. The news will apply to both on and off-campus recruiting, and it officially shuts down the key spring evaluation period for college football in the process.
