Recruiting will soon return to normal… for Division II schools.
College Football Talk’s Bryan Fischer reports that in-person recruiting on NCAA Division II campuses can resume in June. Before hosting recruits on campus, schools must first receive the green light from local public health officials and their conference.
This move counters what’s happening in Division I. Last week the NCAA approved a measure to extend a recruiting dead period through June 30.
If all goes well early on at the Division II level, it should open the door for Mark Stoops and John Calipari to host recruits on campus before summer’s end.
