Sam Vecenie, an NBA analyst for The Athletic, doesn’t think BJ Boston is ready for the 2021 NBA Draft.
Vecenie said after Kentucky’s loss to Auburn that “it might be time to call it on BJ Boston as a draft prospect just for now.”

Also, it might be time to call it on BJ Boston as a draft prospect just for now. Definitely worth keeping an eye on, definitely a guy worth tracking. But he’s just not there. Not giving up on him as a player forever, but he doesn’t look like a 2021 guy right now, and that’s okay.
