The Golden State Warriors have locked in shooting guard Mychal Mulder’s contract.
The former Kentucky Wildcats guard has had stretches of play where he’s fallen out of head coach Steve Kerr’s rotation, but for the season as a whole, the second-year player out of Kentucky has been the exact player Golden State has needed, the exact reason why the team opted to not release him.
This news comes as the team chose not to put Mulder on the market. The deadline passed, and his contract is now guaranteed, per Wes Goldberg.
With the deadline to waive them having passed, the Warriors will guarantee Mychal Mulder and Damion Lee's contracts for the rest of the season.
