LEXINGTON - Mark Stoops is in the market for a new special teams coordinator.
Dean Hood, who served in that role for Kentucky the last three seasons, is set to be named the new head coach at Murray State University, a source confirmed to the Courier Journal Tuesday. The news was first reported by FootballScoop.com.
The move is a return to the Ohio Valley Conference for Hood, who previously served as Eastern Kentucky University's head coach from 2008 to 2015.
