Last week, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey sent a memo to SEC schools warning of fines and even suspensions for not following the league’s COVID-19 protocols. After another Saturday in which several coaches — cough, Jeremy Pruitt, cough — were captured on the sideline not properly wearing masks, ESPN is reporting that “multiple” SEC schools have been fined in the form of $100,000 reductions from their annual conference revenue.
On ESPN Radio, Sankey said the league is keeping a close eye on who is wearing masks and who isn’t.
