I was born at the end of Muhammad Ali’s boxing career and by the time I came to know him, Parkison’s disease had robbed him of a lot of his physical gifts. Everything I came to know about Muhammad Ali, I gleaned from watching highlights of his old fights, reading books and from stories. Ali was world famous and since his death on Friday night, many sportswriters have written great pieces on The Champ. His impact on the world and on the United States is undeniable.
