KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Get ready to feel old.
Roy Williams has now been the head coach at North Carolina longer than he was the head coach at Kansas.
It's true. This is Williams' 16th season at UNC. He was at Kansas for 15 before leaving to take over the Tar Heels in one of the more memorable – and meaningful – coaching changes in the history of college sports.
"I had 15 great years there and loved it every minute," Williams said Thursday during NCAA Midwest Regional practices in Kansas City.
