An overlooked and significant development amid the FBI scandal in college basketball was the creation of a committee by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The stated purpose of this committee was "to address the pressing issues currently facing the sport."

The committee — which includes UK's John Calipari among other big-time coaches — will formulate recommendations to give to the NCAA's new college basketball commission.
