LEXINGTON, Ky. — If the Kentucky football team’s Saturday game against No. 14 Mississippi State is to be played in front of a packed Kroger Field, there is work to be done.
As of Tuesday morning, a UK spokesman said the university had distributed 46,300 tickets, up just more than 2,000 since Monday. Capacity at Kroger Field is listed at 61,000.
“I just hope and expect to have a great crowd,” UK coach Mark Stoops said Monday.
