Montgomery County again overcame a double-digit first half deficit and defeated Mason County 52-51 in the quarterfinals of the 10th region tournament. Brandon Dyer made big plays down the stretch, including a jumper in the lane to put the Indians up 3 with 1:45 left. He finished with 11 points.
“It is win or go home. This team didn’t want to lose. I didn’t want to lose, so my mind set was to give it all I have, every single play,” Dyer said.
