Jeremy Jarmon is known by Kentucky, Washington Redskin and Denver Broncos fans for manning the trenches on the football field. After injuries stunted his NFL career, Jarmon went back to school in pursuit of studying medicine. Now, in Gallatin, TN at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Jarmon is once again manning the trenches. This time, it’s against COVID-19.
As an emergency room nurse, Jarmon has been a significant asset in an area around Nashville, TN that has been hit hard by the coronavirus. Not only has Jarmon been handed the responsibility of caring for COVID-19 patients, but he’s also lived and worked in an environment that’s highly overrun with cases and has had to deal with knowing he could very well catch the virus.
