Kentucky put together a very solid first half performance in Gainesville creating three scoring opportunities in five possessions while limiting Florida to zero in four possessions. Yet, somehow they went to the locker room trailing 14-10. Things got worse in a hurry in the second half as UK’s offense went on a streak of four straight three-and-outs while the Gators scored 17 points on three straight possessions to start the second half.
We look up now and see UK sitting at 13th in the SEC yards per play offense while the defense has slipped down to sixth after playing two of the best offenses in college football.
