A former Super Bowl champion is joining the reigning Super Bowl champions. Mike Edwards, who played his first four seasons in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has agreed to a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The deal is worth $3 million, with a chance to get to $5 million with incentives, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting.

Edwards is coming off his best season with the Buccaneers, racking up 82 tackles (52 solo), three pass break-ups, two interceptions and a sack.
