Mike DeCourcy: “Kentucky gets slapped with the bracket once again”

for at least the fourth time in eight years, John Calipari’s team got the short end of the stick.

“The most glaring issue, though, remains how these stacked brackets keep following around Kentucky’s Wildcats,” DeCourcy writes.

DeCourcy points out all of the ways the Selection Committee has screwed the Cats over the years, such as giving Texas A&M a 3-seed and Kentucky a 4-seed last year after Kentucky beat them in the SEC Tournament; putting them in the “bracket of death” back in 2014; and giving them a 4-seed in 2011. Now, this year, they may have to face a 30-4 Wichita State team in round two, a UCLA team that beat them in the Sweet 16, and UNC in the Elite Eight.
