LEXINGTON — Kentucky football has turned to the transfer portal to help address its depth issues at linebacker.
Former four-star recruit Luke Fulton has transferred from Michigan State to Kentucky, UK confirmed Wednesday. Like UK coach Mark Stoops and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow, Fulton attended Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, Ohio.
Fulton did not appear in a game in two seasons at Michigan State. He was one of two Michigan State players arrested in September during an incident at a fraternity house and suspended from the team. Fulton was initially charged with aggravated assault and posted $1,000 personal bond following his arrest, according to the Detroit Free Press.
