Aveion Chenault, a class of 2025 wide receiver out of Lexington’s Frederick Douglass High School, is a prospect that Kentucky football fans should go ahead and learn about now.
Clocking in at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds, the rising junior announced an offer from the Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday afternoon. Chenault tagged Michigan defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale, who was once the defensive backs at Kentucky from 2016-20, in his tweet. Clinkscale, still familiar with the area, is looking to poach one of the fastest-rising recruits in the Bluegrass State.
This offer marked the sixth Divison I offer for Chenault, who has also received scholarships from Kentucky, West Virginia, Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, and Miami (OH).
