Meaningless Texas A&M half-court shot was an all-time bad beat

After a disastrous start to the night that saw Kentucky fall behind 10-0 to start the game, the No. 18 Wildcats were able to get back on track and take down Texas A&M by a final score of 85-74.

For many Wildcats fans the win is a relief after the brutal loss to Alabama in Kentucky’s SEC opener to Alabama, but for those fans who bet on the game, there might be reason for disappointment.

The betting line opened at -12.5 in most locations and closed at either -14.5 or -15, depending on where the bet was placed.
