No, this isn’t a Broadway adaptation. One high school in Kentucky is dealing with a cat infestation unlike any theatre play.
According to Julie Dolan of WLKY in Louisville, Meade County High School is dealing with a small group of students who are dressing up and acting like cats while at school. The Meade County superintendent told WLKY that the situation is being addressed, but a grandparent paints a different picture: this has apparently been happening since last school year.
“Apparently, from what I understand, they’re called ‘furries,'” an anonymous grandmother told WLKY.
