McNeese head coach Will Wade has reportedly reached an agreement to become the next head coach at North Carolina State.
Wade has McNeese in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 11 seed this week. The NC State news is expected to be made official after McNeese’s season ends.

Wade acknowledged Wednesday he’s had contact with the Wolfpack regarding its head coaching position.
“There’s no need to hide it,” Wade said. “The guys are reading it on social media. It’s no secret and I’m not going to ask them to do something I’m not willing to do.
