“I might have to kick it with my left this year, especially if I have to roll left and kick it quickly,” Duffy said after Wednesday’s practice.
Blasting 61-yarders is no big deal to the former Aussie Rules Football professional. Neither is kicking it with his other foot.
“I grew up kicking the ball with both feet playing Australian football back home; specifically the roll-out stuff, maybe (started) sometime this year. We more so have to learn the spiral, the pocket spiral, when we come over. The roll-outs are fairly natural, but it’s definitely still an art to getting height, distance and all that kind of stuff, especially on the left foot,” he said.
