Beginning in January, colleges will be able to hire a 10th full-time football assistant.
It appears the Kentucky Wildcats may already have a target for that 10th coach: Former NFL All-Pro safety Ed Reed.
The former Buffalo Bills secondary coach is still on the market after his first coaching stint ended along with the Rex Ryan tenure in Buffalo this past year. That’s had Reed taking a step back to reassess his options and decide if he wants another crack at coaching.
Mark Stoops is hoping Reed not only continues to coach, but does so in Lexington.
