Liam Coen has officially been named the Kentucky Wildcats’ new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, head coach Mark Stoops announced Tuesday.
Coen spent the last three years with the Los Angeles Rams, two of which (2018-19) were as the assistant wide receivers coach before he was named assistant quarterbacks coach prior to the 2020 season.
Currently, the Rams are tied for the 2020 NFC West division lead with three games to play and are led by Pro Bowl quarterback Jared Goff. Coen works with Goff, who is one of the best passers in the league, having completed 324-of-475 passing attempts for 3,509 yards and 18 touchdowns so far this season.
