Mark Stoops’ revised contract guarantees income that was previously contingent on winning games. It lengthens the list of his lucrative incentive bonuses and provides for up to 10 hours per year of personal use of private airplanes.

It is a commitment to continuity.

Stoops will start his seventh season at UK Saturday afternoon as the longest-tenured coach in the Southeastern Conference who is not named Nick Saban, with an enhanced contract that could make him the first Kentucky head football coach to last a full decade.
